1. THE CUDDLE CLUB – bringing cuddles to your next event, in the form of adorable puppies

Event Offering

We believe in the scientifically proven benefits that dogs bring into the work environment. We bring The Cuddle Club Heroes into the workplace or event space to de-stress your staff, giving them an instant mood boost.

Background

I had to take a year and a half off work as I was suffering from poor mental and physical health, taking eight tablets a day to just function. This was the time that I got my dog Chubbs.  Throughout this illness, I believe Chubbs literally saved my life and gave me the energy and motivation to get better. I was really inspired by him and decided that I wanted to turn my pain into purpose and advocate the healing effects that dogs have on humans which led me to launch The Cuddle Club.

Future Aspirations

The Cuddle Club Heroes are on a mission to de-stress London and beyond, one workplace at a time and in the wider community.

3. IGO ADVENTURES – corporate adventures into the wilderness

Event Offering

We offer fully-supported, expert-led adventure weekends and week-long breaks to discover the world’s most wild and rugged landscapes. Camp under the stars, wild cook, explore an area by foot/bike/kayak/swim/whatever is human powered and learn new skills.

Background

IGO Adventures was started by Bobby Melville in 2014 after he rowed for 48 days straight in a tiny rowing boat with three friends. Add on the year of fundraising, training and preparation and Bobby knew he had to make that sense of genuine adventure accessible to everyone. Especially those who can’t disappear off-grid for months at a time.

He sought the help of George Bullard, who, with a few adventurous world records under his belt, was deemed ambitious enough to start sharing the IGO mission.

Future Aspirations

To become synonymous with sustainable adventure, whilst offering the best way to explore those under-discovered wild places.

4. LAST NIGHT A VEGAN SAVED MY LIFE – delicious vegan food served from a disco themed trailer

Event Offering

We serve delicious vegan food from an eye catching Airstream trailer. We serve vegan fried chick’n burgers (made from seitan) vegan popcorn chick’n (made from seitan) and chips and vegan b’tter chickpea curry, dal and rice. All of the food is handmade, homemade and GM free.
Our amazing airstream add style and atmosphere to any event and the neon sign is a great touch with its 80’s disco feel.

Background

We have been operating since the October 2018. I make all of the food by hand in my kitchen at home and store it in two chest freezers in my lounge. Last year we started trading at Alexandra Palace at an internal music event, however, unfortunately in March this year whilst our trailer was in storage there was a terrible fire which destroyed it. We have been rebuilding the business since and have been trading again from the end of July. As a small business this was a major set back, but we are looking to the future with positivity and we are grateful for all of the support we have received.

Future Aspirations

We are hoping to expand to an industrial kitchen with kitchen staff. We would like to start booking more corporate events and private parties and next year we would like to try and attend at least three music festivals. We need to plan ahead a lot for these as the pitch fees are pretty steep and we would need the kitchen and storage set up and more fryers to keep up with the demand.
