London Summer Event Show Returns to Banking Hall

Story Events have made the difficult decision to move next month’s London Summer Event Show back to its traditional home of Banking Hall, EC3, on the same dates (March 21st and 22nd) as there is a delay to the arrival date of our host venue, Oceandiva London.

Story CEO, Sam Gill commented. “We know that many of our visitors were eagerly anticipating being one of the first to step aboard this exciting new events vessel which is still due to arrive in London next month for final certification and marine trials. We have been working closely with Greg Lawson and the wider Smart Group team over recent weeks to ensure we were able to deliver the Show, but recent delays at the Amsterdam boatyard have meant that the ship will no longer arrive in time for its high specification fit out.”

Chloe Jackson, Managing Director of Smart Group commented: “We’d like to thank the London Summer Event Show and all of their exhibitors and visitors for their understanding as we move the venue to an alternative location.”

For those keen to be one of the first aboard Oceandiva London, all is not lost, since Smart will be providing the first sneak peek onboard Oceandiva at the show itself, as well as hosting launch events in the coming months for all attendees at the Show.

The Show team are grateful to Derick Martin, CEO of Banking Hall’s operator, Camm and Hooper for welcoming us back at Banking Hall at such short notice.
